Children’s Mental Health Specialist in Fredericksburg, VA

At The Children’s Clinic of Fredericksburg, we believe in nurturing children’s emotional and physical health. When your child faces anxiety, depression, or behavioral challenges, our caring team is here to provide expert support. We work closely with families, offering tailored mental health services to empower children with the tools they need to thrive emotionally and socially.

Children experiencing mental health challenges may show signs through emotional, behavioral, or physical changes. Persistent sadness, anxiety, irritability, or frequent mood swings can indicate underlying concerns. You may notice behavioral shifts, such as withdrawing from social activities, defiance, or difficulty following rules.

Some children experience academic struggles, including declining grades or trouble focusing, which are common warning signs. Physical complaints like unexplained headaches or stomachaches and changes in sleep or appetite can also signal the need for professional support. Early intervention can help address these symptoms and improve overall well-being.

Holistic Pediatric Mental Health Services

We understand that no two children are the same, so our team of licensed mental health professionals, led by Dr. William Blake Johnson, develops individualized care plans for each child. From therapy for anxiety and trauma to ADHD support and social skills development, our goal is to help children build resilience and self-confidence.
